Rola Saad: “I’m Not another Nancy Ajram”

Lebanese singer Rula Saad called on the assistance of little kids in
her new video clip for the song “Beidak Ana” (On Your Birthday) leading
people to accuse her of attempting to imitate Lebanese singer Nancy
Ajram. Ajram had made a new video clip for the song “Shakhbat
Shakhabeet,” exclusively for young children. The song is part of
Nancy’s new album created solely for little kids.

Saad
statedd that Ajram is a well known singer who is loved by many fans;
however, she refuses to be compared to her. She goes on explaining that
even though both singers use little kids in their clips, but each song
has its own message. Rula’s song is aimed at kids who are adopted and,
in the clip she plays a famous star filming a scene, where he manager
comes up to her and tells her something important because she leaves
after that in a hurry.

Then she goes home and the scene is her giving a birthday party for a kid who she has adopted.
The video clip emphasizes on adoption and those in need how they need someone around them especially on their birthdays.

The
lyrics for the song “Beidak Ana” are written by Ahmad Madi, composed by
Hisham Bolis, and produced by Merna Khayat. The video clip was filmed
at Rula’s house in northern Lebanon.

Aside from singing Saad is
starting in a new Egyptian movie. According to the London daily Elaph,
this is not Rula’s first movie. Rula went into acting before she became
a singer. She will be heading to Egypt to start filming her new film
written by Dr. Samira Muhsen and produced by Eyhab Radi. The film will
also start Khaled Zaki, Sami Eladel, and Riham Abdel Ghafor.

With her busy schedule, Rula will manage to perform at a number of concerts held in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
